We had a great weekend stay. The house was clean, quiet, had beautiful views of the water, and had an amazing little beach area for our dogs and us. Nige was very accommodating and had the place ready earlier than the original check in. Definitely recommend for future guests.

We had a wonderful stay. The house was beautiful, spotless and had amazing views with easy access to a great beach. The backyard was perfect for us and our dog. We’d absolutely love to come back again in the summer

Escaped the mainland with out-of-town parents and two young kids. The place was great to relax and enjoy the weekend even in the dreary grey. Beautiful views and perfect beach access. Beds were comfortable and the fire was cozy. The place had everything we needed!

This place is great and exactly what it looks like. We're a family of 6 (with two very young children) and had plenty of room. The kids and the dog loved the yard and walking down to the beach. The communication with Nige was perfect.
The view is fantastic - even when it's cloudy you can often still see Mt Baker. All the kitchen essentials were there and while the cookware showed some wear, it didn’t affect our experience at all. We happily made most meals there plus a birthday cake.
The location is perfect. Eastsound is a cute little town that's 5 minutes way, and Moran State Park is about 15 minutes away, depending on where you go.
No need to overthink this - if you like what you see in the pictures, this place is the way to go.

This place offers a wonderful view, a fenced back yard and can accommodate 10 people. It has the charm and character of an old house where you feel very comfortable both in your own bedroom and in the sitting and living room.

The place is exactly as shown in the pictures. The interior is clean, nicely decorated, and the view is breathtaking. From the moment of the booking, communication with the host has been seamless. We booked an earlier ferry due to the availabilities. We were prepared to do some sightseeing until the listed check in time of 4pm. Nigel promptly notified me when the house was ready which was a full 2 hrs early. It really was a pleasant surprise. The house is easy to find and check-in was a breeze. The location feels secluded and yet very close to all the local attractions, ideal for relaxing after a day of exploring. I highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Friday Harbor, and would love to stay here again.

Our stay here was amazing! The house is right on the beach, the kitchen is filled with all the utensils and appliances you could need, there are tons of games and puzzles and the host, Nigel, was proactive in his communication and always responsive. We can’t wait to stay again!
